Our choice for farm dogs are
Farmcollies. Farmcollies are a return to the all around farm
dog who can help with stock but also guard the farm.
Our farmcollies show a strong interest
in herding and also
guardian behavior. They love working and always
reminds us
when is time to do "chores".
Our female, Aberdeen, is an English
Shepherd x Border Collie.
She has matured nicely and has been a
real asset to the farm and helping us with our chores. Abby is the pack leader and helps us enforce
the rule of the farm and keeps the other dogs in line.
Justice
Tank's
Justice for All was our 1st full
English Shepherd. He came to us from Eislie's in Illinois.
He is wonderful with the goats and invaluable to us for moving
goats to and from their pastures and penning them after milking.
Justice is a serious worker and a wonderful addition to our farm.
Sadly we lost Justice late this fall to an accident.
We were able to keep two
puppies from Abby's litter: Karma and Dora
and they really
growing up as farmcollies right from the get go. They
are coming up on two years and maturing into some very
promising (if enthustaic) farmcollies!
